Classic Iceland (“Classic Iceland” or “we”, “our” or “us”) is a tourism expert, offering a diverse array of day tours and custom-made travel services. These Services can be accessed and purchased by making a reservation (“Booking”), through our website https://classiciceland.is (“Website”) and any other websites through which Classic Iceland makes these Services available (“Sites”).
These terms and conditions (“Terms & Conditions”) form a contract between you and Classic Iceland when you use our Services, Website, and/or Sites. The Terms & Conditions include the Terms for Websites and the Terms for Services
The Terms & Conditions also imply that you are governed by the privacy policy of Classic Iceland (“Privacy Policy”) and Classic Iceland’s Cancellation Policy, both of which are available on the Website.

TERMS FOR WEBSITES
By using the Website or the Sites, you agree to abide by and be legally bound by the terms and conditions for using the Website and the Sites (“Terms for Websites”). These Terms for Websites control your access to and use of the Website and the Sites. These Terms for Websites form a legally binding contract between you and Classic Iceland. The Terms for Websites include the following:
You must comply with the applicable laws and regulations of Iceland;
- You are accountable for informing all other parties traveling with you about the contents of the Terms for Websites;
- You must provide truthful and accurate information when using the Website and/or the Sites;
- You consent to be legally bound by the Privacy Policy;
- You consent to be legally bound by the Terms & Conditions;
You will not publish any content that is obscene or could be offensive on racial, ethnic, sexual, or any other grounds; is harmful, vulgar or distasteful; or is defamatory, libelous, or invades another person’s privacy or proprietary rights;
You will not collect or store personally identifiable information about any other individual on the Website and/or the Sites, or otherwise stalk, repeatedly contact or harass another user;
You will not impersonate any other person or misrepresent a relationship with any person or entity, including misrepresenting a relationship with Classic; similarly, you will not adopt a false identity;
You will not post any content that contains any viruses, cancelbots, Trojan horses, harmful code, and/or other computer software and/or program designed to interrupt the Website or the Sites we provide, users’ ability to enjoy the Website and/or the Sites, or the proper functioning of any software, hardware, or equipment or materials used in connection with the Website and/or the Sites;
You will not use any information on the Website and/or the Sites for any commercial purposes, except as expressly authorized by Classic Iceland;
You will not search, mine or link any data or information to or through the Website and/or the Sites without Classic Iceland´s express consent and authorization;
You accept that the Website and/or the Sites may contain inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date information. Classic Iceland takes no responsibility for errors or omissions in the information provided on the Website and/or the Sites;
You agree to indemnify and hold Classic Iceland and its affiliates, agents, employees, and partners harmless from any claim or demand, including attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your conduct, your use of the Website and/or the Sites, your violation of these terms and conditions, or your violation of any rights of another;
You acknowledge and agree that the use of the Website and/or the Sites, including any and all information, statements, materials, articles, research, data, software, tools, tips, products, and/or services is solely at your risk and discretion.
Classic Iceland reserves the right to suspend or terminate your rights to use the Website and/or the Sites without providing you with any notice if you violate any provisions of the Terms for Websites mentioned above.
TERMS FOR SERVICES
By purchasing the Services by making a Booking through the Website and/or the Sites, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by the terms and conditions for the Services (“Terms for Services”). The Terms for Services govern your access to and use of the Services and are as follows:
Confirmation of departure & duration
When you book online, you will receive a confirmation by email stating departure times and the duration of the tours. The estimated duration of tours as indicated on the Website and/or the Sites are standard times and can vary according to road or weather conditions.
Prices
Prices for the Services provided by Classic Iceland are in Icelandic Kronas (ISK).
Payments
There is no charge and/or fee for processing credit card payments when the Services are purchased.
Cancellation policy
All modifications should be directed to info@classiciceland.com via email. The majority of Services showcased on the Website and/or the Sites are completely refundable when cancelled a minimum of 24 hours before departure, as outlined by the Cancellation Policy. The Cancellation Policy applies to all relevant services with a duration of 24 hours or less. Specific policies regarding modifications and reimbursements are mentioned in the description details. If Classic Iceland necessitates a modification or cancellation of schedule or tour, you will be informed through email or a phone call. In all such instances of modifications or cancellations, you will be presented with options for a new date, a different tour, or a complete reimbursement.
Confirmation of departure & duration
Please note that if you have booked pick-up services with Classic Iceland, the pick-up service begins 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Be ready in time for your pick-up at your hotel, guesthouse, or nearest bus stop (as stated on your voucher).
Responsibility & liability
You bear the responsibility for providing Classic Iceland with accurate contact information in case there are changes to the Services you booked with us.
Classic Iceland reserves the right to modify routes, itineraries or timetables if needed, including irregularities due to adverse weather and/or road conditions.
No responsibility is taken for losses and/or expenses due to delay or changes of flights, injury, damages, negligence, weather, war, and/or other unforeseeable causes.
Clothing
Sturdy shoes and warm outdoor wear should be worn when traveling in Iceland during all seasons. Most tours include some kind of short walk and/or hike in nature.
Safety
All customers of Classic Iceland are required to use safety belts when traveling in a car provided by Classic Iceland, as stated in Icelandic law.
According to Icelandic law children under 135 cm in size must sit in appropriate child safety seats secured with seatbelts anytime when a vehicle is in motion. Classic Iceland has a limited number of children’s safety car seats available that provided on request, free of charge. Infant chairs are not available and must be provided by customer.
III. MODIFICATION OF TERMS & CONDITIONS
Classic Iceland reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify the Website and/or the Sites or to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time and without prior notice. If we modify the Terms & Conditions, we will post the modification on the Website and/or the Sites. Any modification to the Terms & Conditions will be effective at the time of posting. If you continue to access and/or use the Website and/or the Sites, it will constitute acceptance of the modified Terms & Conditions.
DISCLAIMER
Classic Iceland shall not be held accountable for any damages and/or loss relating to the use of, or reliance upon, the Website and/or the Sites.
