Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in a comfortable, climate-controlled vehicle. As we drive through picturesque landscapes, your driver/guide will give you insights into the science and folklore behind the mesmerizing Aurora Borealis. Their expertise increases your chances of witnessing the lights at their finest.
The tour will take you to the off-the-beaten-path location, offering an unparalleled view of the night sky. The serenity of the location, away from bustling tour groups, ensures an experience like no other. For those keen on capturing the perfect shot of the Northern Lights, our guides are ready to share photography tips and techniques.
Depending on the evening’s forecast and activity, there’s an option to move to a second location, ensuring we maximize your viewing potential. 
Our journey culminates close to midnight, wrapping up with a heart full of memories and possibly a camera full of breathtaking images. We’ll then journey back, ensuring you’re comfortably back at your accommodation.

Note: While the Northern Lights are a natural wonder, their appearance is never guaranteed. Our expertise, however, ensures the best possible chance of witnessing this magical display.

The Cancellation Policy applies to all relevant services with a duration of 24 hours or less. If Classic Iceland necessitates a modification or cancellation of schedule or tour, you will be informed through email or a phone call. In all such instances of modifications or cancellations, you will be presented with options for a new date, a different tour, or a complete reimbursement.

TERMS FOR SERVICES

By purchasing the Services by making a Booking through the Website and/or the Sites, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by the terms and conditions for the Services (“Terms for Services”). The Terms for Services govern your access to and use of the Services and are as follows:

Confirmation of departure & duration

When you book online, you will receive a confirmation by email stating departure times and the duration of the tours. The estimated duration of tours as indicated on the Website and/or the Sites are standard times and can vary according to road or weather conditions.

Prices

Prices for the Services provided by Classic Iceland are in Icelandic Kronas (ISK).

Payments

There is no charge and/or fee for processing credit card payments when the Services are purchased.

Cancellation policy

All modifications should be directed to [email protected] via email. The majority of Services showcased on the Website and/or the Sites are completely refundable when cancelled a minimum of 24 hours before departure, as outlined by the Cancellation Policy. The Cancellation Policy applies to all relevant services with a duration of 24 hours or less. Confirmation of departure & duration

Please note that if you have booked pick-up services with Classic Iceland, the pick-up service begins 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Be ready in time for your pick-up at your hotel, guesthouse, or nearest bus stop (as stated on your voucher).

Responsibility & liability

You bear the responsibility for providing Classic Iceland with accurate contact information in case there are changes to the Services you booked with us.

Classic Iceland reserves the right to modify routes, itineraries or timetables if needed, including irregularities due to adverse weather and/or road conditions.

No responsibility is taken for losses and/or expenses due to delay or changes of flights, injury, damages, negligence, weather, war, and/or other unforeseeable causes.

Clothing

Sturdy shoes and warm outdoor wear should be worn when traveling in Iceland during all seasons. Most tours include some kind of short walk and/or hike in nature.

Safety

All customers of Classic Iceland are required to use safety belts when traveling in a car provided by Classic Iceland, as stated in Icelandic law.

According to Icelandic law children under 135 cm in size must sit in appropriate child safety seats secured with seatbelts anytime when a vehicle is in motion. Classic Iceland has a limited number of children’s safety car seats available that provided on request, free of charge. Infant chairs are not available and must be provided by customer.
